Tess in Boots Reviews
A fun light read. I laughed so much at Tess's thought process. Sometimes we all overthink our lives. Great characters and a fun setting. Well worth reading.
This book is such a sweet romance; and so genuine to what hard working females go through. It’s a great interpretation to how sometimes, God has to throw our life into complete disarray for us to see the amazing gifts and love he has planned for us.
Believing she just sent her relationship with her boyfriend down the drain, Tess Dougherty jumps at the chance to help out her brother in North Carolina launching his vineyard. Tess is confused after not knowing where she belongs, her boyfriend or ex has yet to call or text her, her job just went down the drain, and now she seems to find herself in the company of Thatcher who gets under her skin. Thatcher is a bit of an enigma and Tess knows she should not even be thinking about another man with ...more

Tess in Boots is a clean new adult contemporary romance. It is a starting over story, where the main character needs to get away from her current life. Tess lost her job right before she was supposed to get a big promotion and her boyfriend was being all "dud-like". Not wanting to move forward or do much of anything after being together seven years. So when her brother calls her up out of the blue and tells her he n ...more
This wasn't an extremely long book but it was an enjoyable one. Tess is your typical city girl who is at a point in her life where big decisions are abundant. She is easy to relate to because almost every girl has had to deal with these types of decisions and we have all big dreams and our hearts broken. I rooted for Tess right from the beginning and hoped that she would find her happy ending. Just from the type of book this is, I could tell from pretty early on how the story would end but that ...more
Tess has planned her wedding to Logan. They have dated fro seven years, and she knows that he is finally going to ask her to marry him at a special dinner. But, it doesn't happen. He congratulates her on a job promotion and then leaves for a business trip right after she gives him an ultimatum.
He missed the fact that she was laid off from work the next day and received a surprise invitation from her twin brother, Jake, to help him out on a vineyard he and his wife just inherited.

Ok super cute read! I just loved Tess from the beginning from really finding herself and not being someone that everyone wanted her to be. Thatcher- could you just be the nicest guy ever? My favorite part when he gave the Cowboy boots. Lots of surprises and what's going on here? moments. I wanted their story to continue.
