I won this book from Goodreads and publisher Harper Collins who I thank for an exciting read! An interesting story of young lady trying to make it to her mother's side while she has an operation but finds herself stuck at a roadside rest stop in a blizzard! Here several characters intertwine with chilling evil and temperatures!!
I read some reviews that seemed a little off, this is Fiction, the author can take chances with different scenarios that may not seem normal to any common sense people, ...more
What a wild, wicked ride, this book.
Who would've guessed a full-length novel entirely set on a rest stop could be that thrilling, especially considering the bad guy reveals himself relatively early into the book?
Sure, there wasn't much of an elaborate plot, Adams went totally over the top with the "NOOOOOO" moments, the protagonist was stupid and kept making the dumbest decisions, and I often felt like I was reading the script of a 90's teen slasher movie where, no matter how fast you are, the ...more
WHAT THE BLOODY HELL WAS THAT!!!!
Unfortunately I DNF at 30% the plot was ridiculous Darby was an irritating character & if you were stuck in a blizzard WHY WOULDNT YOU HAVE A PLAN B?? For heavens sake Miss Taylor get the plot right UGhhh This was one forgettable book
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
DNF at 22%. Slow and boring. Enjoyed the isolated, trapped element, and the setting was described well, but that was about it. There was something off about the tone that irked me. The narration seemed too upbeat considering the protagonist has just found a caged child bound and gagged, hurt and freezing, in the back of a van. The child abducter has been revealed already and I just read a page where the author felt it was necessary to have a character fart multiple times. Juvenile! Maybe it gets ...more

NO EXIT is one of the BEST Thrillers I have read! Taylor Adams is brilliant. This is the way a thriller should be written. I would not change a thing. With so many twists and turns you do not see coming (mind-blowing), he still has you guessing even at the Epilogue. Top Books of 2019! 5 Stars +++.
The audiobook narrated by Sarah Naughton was superb! (Top 10 Audiobooks of 2018). (I did have to rewind the last part several times to make sure I caught something). However, I am saving my book rev ...more
This shit was intense. This is a thriller/horror novel about a child abduction that takes place in the middle of a blizzard in Colorado. Our main character Darby gets stuck at a rest stop in Colorado on the way to visit her family, and she meets four strangers at a rest stop, and in the parking lot she sees a child locked in a cage with duct tape over her mouth in the back of a van. So immediately we are trying to figure out who's van that is and Darby contemplate who she can trust.
