Next In Line Reviews
*4.5 fairytale* stars
I’ve wanted to read Next in Line as soon as I knew it was Sam’s story! I’ve enjoyed him in Wait for me so it was obvious I needed to know more.
However I has such a hard time connecting with Maggie! I found her to be so immature, too innocent but you know what? It’s also why I ended the book loving her because of her character’s growth, because Maggie might not be the usual self-assured you found in books these days but she has a sparkling personality you get attached to. ...more
dnf at 31%; unfortunately, i couldn't get into this book. I don't think the writing was bad, or anything like that. I just really didn't like the main character, Maggie. She was super immature, and pretty ridiculous in my opinion. I personally couldn't get past that and gave up on the book.
Everyone that reads this will be hooked from the beginning. Hook line and sinker....sorry....I couldn't resist.
Sam and his gruff loner ways and Maggie and her romantic side will win you over. But.....falling for his best friends little sister? Ummmm......Sam is having a hard time with this.
Amy has an amazing way of writing characters we all can identify with. Characters we would want to be friends with. Characters we are invested in and are cheering for while reading. Don't even get me started ...more
It was a slow start but then I was hooked!.

Next In Line was a funny, sexy, swoony, and entertaining standalone romantic comedy in the Wait With Me series, and I absolutely loved it! The storyline and characters Amy Daws created were wonderful, and I loved her writing style and sense of humor. Amy's stories have never ceased to make me laugh and swoon, and Next In Line was no exception.
The storyline was unexpected in a lot of ways, but no less amazing and entertaining. Amy Daws created a fun, sexy, and swoon-worthy plot that h ...more
This book has it all. It's funny. It's steamy. It's romantic. It's got a great plot and fantastic characters. Then again it's written by Amy Daws and I've come to feel that any book I get from her is going to be romance reader's gold. Next in Line was all of that. From the very beginning with the first meeting of the main characters, I knew this was something special. And of course I kept reading and loving every word. There were some fun and unexpected twists along the way, but the good kind. T ...more
It's a good and enjoyable story, but if you really ask, I liked the previous book more.
This doesn't mean, Next in line doesn't worth the time to read it. It worth because of Sam and he's way to put always first Maggie's interest. To know how to get under her skin even if he has to "fight" against her" official" boyfriend. But Sam's strategy is gold. Let's say he knows how to catch the gold fish. While I'm at this point, the story gets a lot of ice fishing details. And that's can get a little an ...more
I found Amy Daws when she released Wait With Me and I loved both the book and her. So when I heard she was releasing a second book in the series, I was so excited! Next In Line is Sam and Maggie’s story. We first met Sam in Wait With Me and though it is in the same series, both can be read as standalones, however, Wait With Me is a must read for sure and one I highly recommend!
Maggie is Miles sister (from Wait With Me) and is in town visiting. She is trying to get over a bad breakup when she me ...more
